New Volvo dump trucks arrive at SUEK-Kuzbass

28 May 2015

Three new new Volvo FMX 8x4 TRIDEM dump trucks have arrived at the Preventive Measures and Recultivation Division at SUEK-Kuzbass. By June 2015, the division is set to receive 14 Volvo TRIDEM dump trucks as part of the company’s 2015 investment programme.

The cost of each dump truck is RUB 9.2m, and in addition to high technical and operational characteristics, the equipment provides safe and comfortable working conditions for its operators.

A large windscreen with powerful wipers and big rear-view mirrors provide the driver with excellent all-round visibility. The trucks are equipped with automatic climate control and the cab is equipped with sound insulation, which helps prevent outside noise entering the cockpit.

The powerful engine, automatic transmission, rear air suspension, as well as a system that prevents the vehicle rollover during sharp changes in longitudinal angle of the road, all enhance comfort and safety for the driver.

Volvo trucks with the carrying capacity of 25-30 tonnes have operated in the company since 2012. By the beginning of 2015, there were 57 units.
