SUEK’s Annual Report receives awards at Russian and foreign contests

The results of the XXII Annual Report Competition held by Moscow Exchange were announced in Moscow on 13 November. At the formal awards ceremony, SUEK’s 2018 Annual Report became winner in the ‘Best Annual Report of a Non-Public Company’ category and got prizes in several categories such as ‘Best Annual Report: Efficient Communications’ and ‘Best Presentation of a Business Model in the Report of a Non-Public Company’.

The regular contest of annual reports run by Moscow Exchange is the most prestigious corporate reporting award in Russia. It aims to increase the transparency of companies operating in Russia and to enhance their corporate culture. The jury consists of representatives of large investment funds, leading financial analysts, experts in corporate governance and communications, journalists, delegates of professional organisations and employees of the Bank of Russia.

SUEK’s 2018 Integrated Annual Report has already received a number of prestigious international awards.

In September 2019, during a ceremony in London, SUEK’s Annual Report won bronze in the ‘Best Printed Report’ (Unlisted) and ‘Best Online Report’ (International) categories at The Corporate & Financial Awards corporate financial communications competition (United Kingdom).

At the ARC Awards (USA), SUEK’s Annual Report won gold in the ‘Traditional Annual Report’ category and was honored in the ‘Interactive Annual Report’ category. The jury also recognised it as the best Russian annual report in the ‘Best of Russia’ category.

In the prestigious international rating ReportWatch (United Kingdom), SUEK’s Annual Report was assigned the highest score in the history of Russian companies, ‘A-‘ (Very good).
