Andrey Melnichenko resigns from SUEK Board of Directors, stands down as main beneficiary
JSC SUEK (“SUEK”, “Group” or “the Company”) announces that Andrey Melnichenko has resigned from the Board of Directors and withdrawn from the beneficiaries of the Group, effective 9 March 2022.
Andrey Melnichenko was Chairman of the Nomination and Compensation Committee of SUEK’s Board of Directors, and served as a Non-Executive Director of the Group since 2004.
At year-end 2021, the legal entity that held business interests for the benefit of Andrey Melnichenko indirectly owned 92.2% of the Company’s share capital. Following his resignation and withdrawal as beneficiary on 9 March 2022, the share controlled beneficially by Mr. Melnichenko is 0%.
