SUEK announces the appointments of Pyotr Maksimov for the post of Director of Legal Affairs and Boris Chernicher for the post of Chief Financial Officer.
Before joining SUEK, Pyotr Maksimov for 15 years led the legal departments of large industrial corporations, including RUSAL, NCSP Group (Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port), COALCO AG (Metalloinvest). Prior to that, he worked for 10 years in leading international law firms: Debevoise & Plimpton, Coudert Brothers, Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, Squire, Sanders & Dempsey.
Pyotr Maksimov holds a diploma with honors from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), as well as LL.M. degree from Columbia University Law School.
Boris Chernicher, before joining SUEK, was Chief Financial Officer of Rusagro Group, having vast experience in senior and leading positions in the financial structures of major Russian companies, including VEON, Home Credit Russia, Genser, KPMG Russia.
Boris Chernicher graduated from Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Information (MESI) in 2008, holds a diploma in accounting and finance from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
